It started with a year of silence.
Pursuit was built by someone who spent the better part of a year applying for roles and hearing almost nothing back. Dozens of tailored CVs. Carefully written cover letters. Endless portals. And then — rejection, or worse, no response at all.
That experience sent me deep into the mechanics of hiring: how applicant tracking systems parse CVs, how recruiters filter shortlists, how keywords and formatting decisions can quietly push applications to the bottom, and how much of the process is opaque to the person actually trying to get a job.
The more I learned, the clearer it became that the tools available to job seekers were either too scattered, too salesy, or too automated. Nothing felt like it was truly on the candidate's side.
So we built the platform we wished existed.
Pursuit brings the whole search into one calm place. Live roles are scored against your profile and CV, not just filtered by title and location. Full job descriptions are shown up front so you can decide before leaving the app. Every application lives on a simple Kanban board from saved to offer, with gentle reminders when something has gone quiet.
