Terms of Service

By accessing or using Pursuit (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

Pursuit is a job-search and application-tracking platform. We aggregate live job listings, score them against the profile and CV you provide, help you track your applications, and offer optional AI-assisted tools such as cover-letter drafting and ATS checks. We do not apply to jobs on your behalf.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your profile.
• You may not impersonate another person, create multiple accounts to abuse the service, or use automated means to scrape or interfere with the platform.

You agree not to use Pursuit to:

• Upload unlawful, offensive, infringing or malicious content.
• Harass, abuse or impersonate others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Overload or disrupt our infrastructure.
• Share another person’s personal data without permission.

You retain ownership of any content you upload, including your CV, profile details and notes. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process and display it so we can provide the Service to you. You represent that you have the right to upload the content and that it does not violate third-party rights.

The Pursuit name, logo, software, designs and content created by us are owned by Pursuit or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from our materials without permission. Third-party job listings remain the property of their respective owners.

Job listings shown in Pursuit come from third-party sources such as Adzuna and are provided for information purposes. We do not guarantee that listings are current, accurate or still available. When you click “Apply” you leave Pursuit and are subject to the employer’s or job board’s own terms and privacy policy.

Cover-letter drafts, ATS checks and other AI features are provided as assistance only. They may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and deciding whether to use any AI-generated output. Pursuit does not submit applications or communications on your behalf.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any match score, ATS prediction or cover-letter draft will lead to a job offer.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pursuit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100 if you have paid nothing.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update the Service or these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service. Continued use of Pursuit after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
